Spray can, of course, is a useful tool in skillful hands, but even skillful hands sometimes can not find it, because it is not sold in every store. The question arises: what to do? So, in order to make a can of compressed air with our own hands, we need:
- An empty spray can;
- The nipple from the bicycle with a special adapter to the car pump;
- A tube that can be removed from the WD-40 (you can also use PVC insulation removed from the cable);
- Epoxy.
Materials collected, you can start. First of all, take the nipple and grind its edges.
Next, take a spray can. At its bottom we need to make a hole with a diameter of 8 mm. Through the hole made, you need to remove the regular plastic aerosol tube, because it simply will not be needed. After that, we take the adapter to the car pump and begin to thread in the hole we made.
The next step is to take a drill with a diameter of 2 mm, and begin to expand the aerosol nozzle to the diameter of our tube. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the tube fits tightly into the hole and also holds.
Next we take bicycle nipple, spread the epoxy resin and screw it into the adapter. As a result, we get one whole piece, which, in turn, is screwed into the bottom of the can with the same epoxy resin.
The can is ready. It remains only to pump it with air. You need to swing to the end of your forces, without worrying about the integrity of the spray can. The fact is that a person can manually pump air into a spray can with a pressure of about 5 atmospheres, a car pump can reach a pressure of 10 atmospheres, an electric compressor will help double the result of a car pump, but even this will not damage the spray can, which is designed for 40 atmospheres.
The only drawback of this invention is that when the pressure drops, it starts to work not so well. To avoid the need for frequent pumping of air into the spray can, you can take a balloon from an air freshener or something else, if only it is big.
