DIY sanding block

At least once in our lives we need to clean some surface, but there is nothing at hand, as luck would have it. The nearest store is located on the other side of the city or does not work at all. A small grinder can be made do it yourself.

We offer you to watch a video of grinding:



For this we need:
- a motor with a power unit attached to it;
- CD or DVD;
- scissors;
- cork in the middle with a hole;
- Double-sided tape;
- sanding paper.



First we need to take a double-sided tape, cut 4 pieces from it. Now these are 4 pieces of scotch tape we stick to the disk. From double-sided tape we peel off the film.


A circle of sanding paper we will need to stick to the disc on double-sided tape.


Now we take the motor and with the tip of the motor we thread it into the inside of the cork.


Now again, you need double-sided tape. Cut two small pieces and glue them on the cork.


Glue the cork on the silver side of the disk, right in the center. We will hold the cork in the process, and use the grinding paper to grind the surface we need.


All grinding machine is ready.
