How to make plastic in home conditions, we already know. Is it possible to make a stone from milk?
Let's see the stone making process in the video:
So we need:
- milk;
- Vinegar;
- capacity;
- Sieve.
First of all, we need to heat the milk to 70-80 degrees Celsius.
Next, add vinegar to the heated milk. For a half liter of milk, 6 tablespoons of vinegar is enough. The resulting mixture must be thoroughly mixed.
As a result of thorough mixing, we get a mixture like milk flakes. This is casein or a complex protein that is formed when milk coagulates under the influence of acids. Outwardly, casein is similar to cottage cheese, but only outwardly. In no case should you try the casein to taste.
Next, we need to extract casein from milk, for which we take a container and a sieve for filtering.
In order to leave as little moisture as possible in casein, you need to wait a few minutes, and then shake the sieve, and also mix everything with a spoon.
Next, we need to dry the resulting mass. To do this, take a paper towel and put casein with a sieve on it.
Then we smooth the towel several times and press it with your hand. The towel should absorb moisture, so one towel will not be enough.
After that, we repeat everything in the reverse order, unfolding the towel.
Now you can begin to shape our casein and finally dry it. If the thickness of the selected form is equal to a centimeter, then at room temperature it will dry for 7-8 days.
Attention!!! Dried casein looks like a stone in appearance. Do not use it as an alternative to stone in the construction of new buildings or for the repair of old ones.
