How to make biofuels from paper

If you have a large stack of paper or newspapers that you can use for your good, then use them to create your own biofuel. Do not rush to throw away old documents and papers, together we will turn all this into a fuel source, which does not take up much space, and most importantly, brings significant benefits.

Let's look at the process that is shown in the video. homemade:

To create biofuels in home conditions, you will need:
- water;
- a lot of newspapers or paper, the more newspapers there will be, the better it will be for us;
- paper shredder;
- several plastic or metal containers of different sizes;
- a sieve for filtering;
- a form for creating a briquette.

Making fuel consists of several simple steps, first of all you have to chop paper into small pieces. Schroeder does this very well and quickly.

If you don’t have a shredder, you can tear newspapers manually or use scissors. Of course, this process will take much longer, but you will have something to do in the free evening.

Transfer the shredded paper into a large basin and fill it with warm water. There should be as much water as can cover all the paper.

Remember the paper by hand, so that the particles become even smaller. If you have an industrial or home blender, it will crush the paper almost to porridge. This consistency of paper is what we need.

Leave a container of paper and water for 10-12 hours so that it is completely wet.

Next, take a sieve and strain the paper pulp, this will help get rid of water and reduce drying time.

It is not necessary to use a sieve, but only if you are not afraid to get dirty. You can squeeze the paper with your hands.

Now metal forms are used. In one form we apply paper.

The bottom of the second container must be pressed onto the pulp to remove all moisture and form a briquette.

Finished cakes will be easier to get if you put a film or plastic bag on the bottom of the container.

The resulting semi-finished products should dry well before use. Leave them in a warm place for several days, for example, put them on the battery.

On average, a briquette needs 3 days to dry, and they burn much longer than ordinary paper.

10-15 cakes are enough to make a good bonfire on a picnic.
