For the independent production of the net, I was encouraged by children, who bought the net at the store either with short sticks, or the diameter of the net itself is small. So I decided to make my net.
For the manufacture I needed:
- bamboo stick (support for plants),
- mesh (sold in fabric stores),
- a very thick and better almost non-bending wire,
- the wire is thin and flexible (not much is needed: 20-30cm),
- thread and needle
First, make a circle from thick wire, and connect it with 2 ends something like this:
Next, we circle this circle with a grid. I first sheathed, and then cut off the unnecessary fabric and gave the necessary shape in the form of a triangle. And I sewed 2 edges of the mesh to make a certain cap.
Then, connecting the edges of the wire, I inserted them directly into the stick (the necessary hole appeared in it). And she fixed the structure with a thin wire, wrapping a net of net around the stick.
That's basically it. Plus of such a net - you yourself regulate the diameter of the net and the length of the stick.
The dimensions of the finished net in my case were as follows:
the length of the stick is about 120 cm, the diameter of the circle is about 30 cm, and accordingly the length of the entire structure is about 1.5 m.
Children can catch May bugs with such a net.
In conclusion, I only add that if you do not want to buy bamboo supports separately, find a suitable stick in the forest. It will turn out no worse.
