I want to bring to your attention just such an ashtray (you can think of many applications for such a vase, so this is at your discretion).
What we need:
- A sheet of tin (or any other thin metal);
-Scissors for metal;
-Pliers;
-Bolt with nut.
Step one:
Draw two rectangles (6X1.5 cm) and one circle (r = 3.5 cm) on the tin sheet, then cut them out.
Step Two:
From the center of our circle, draw another circle with a radius of 2 cm.
Step Three:
Draw the stripes as shown.
Fourth step:
Cut these strips, and then wrap the "rays" of our circle with pliers. Drill a hole in the center of the circle.
Step Five:
Put our “legs” on the cross and draw the fold lines as shown. Drill a hole in the center of the foot (it should be the same diameter as the hole in the circle).
Step Six:
Draw the lines as shown. Then cut them.
Seventh step:
Wrap the strips with pliers.
Step Eight:
Now bend the “legs” along the lines that were held in the fifth step.
Step Eight:
And finally, we need to tighten all the parts with a bolt and fasten with a nut (or you can rivet).
