More and more people change every year to bicyclesbecause it’s environmentally friendly, much cheaper than car and helps maintain muscle tone. But sometimes it’s very inconvenient to stop in the middle of the road when someone is calling on a mobile phone. It is much more convenient when the phone is in a place where it is easy to reach and answer without holding it. This option is to mount the phone to the handlebars of the bike.
They do not sell special holders, so we offer you a video that shows how to make such a holder yourself. In this case, you do not have to invent something supernatural and spend a lot of money. Everything is very simple.
To create a bicycle holder for a mobile phone, we need:
- reflector for a bicycle;
- a small screwdriver;
- car phone holder;
- glue gun.
Getting to work.
Our car holder must first be unpacked.
From the reflector we unscrew the headlight and relax all the mounts. This is done with our screwdriver and a pair of light movements.
A car holder usually comes with a special item that attaches to the holder itself. If there wasn’t one in the kit, you shouldn’t be upset, you can come up with something instead of it directly at the place of attachment to the bicycle.
So, if the part was in the kit, we need to attach it to the phone holder by inserting it into the holes specially designed for it.
In this part there are special pins that are necessary in order to hold everything that is inserted between them.
The base of the reflector fits perfectly into the part and holds perfectly there.
We connect the reflector and the car holder for the phone, for reliability, we fix the connection point with glue using a glue gun.
The previously relaxed fasteners are slightly tightened so that everything has a rigid frame. We try on the construction we have assembled on the bicycle handlebar and screw the fasteners all the way.
This bike holder rotates perfectly at the base, does not stagger or shake when riding.
