Often we need to take our pet to the country house or to the veterinary clinic, it’s very inconvenient to do this on our hands, and we don’t really want to spend money on a new carriage for two or three trips.
Therefore, we bring to your attention a video that shows how to make a carry for your furry friend from improvised means and small expenses.
To make the transfer we need to prepare the following:
- case from 15 ’’ CRT monitor;
- plywood sheet;
- a pencil;
- jigsaw;
- painting lattice;
- wooden blocks;
- threads;
- knife;
- paint;
- brush;
- cable clamp;
- cable gland;
- plumbing clamp;
- self-tapping screws;
- screws;
- nuts.
So, let's get to work.
The case of 15 ’’ CRT monitor will be used as the basis for the container. Having previously removed all unnecessary details and the screen itself from it.
To make the bottom for carrying, we need thick plywood. Instead, you can use any improvised material that will be quite thick and wide. We put the monitor on plywood and trace the contours of its lower part with a pencil.
Saw off all unnecessary jigsaw along the drawn lines so that our bottom fits snugly into the bottom of the monitor. If necessary, fix it with screws or self-tapping screws.
As a door for our carrying, we will use the old paint grid, previously cleaned of paint and dirt (although you can buy a new one).
From wooden blocks or scraps, we make blanks for two loops, gently trimming the desired shape of the parts.
In the paint grid we cut holes for the hinges. We thread the blanks of loops to the holes made with threads. We paint on top with a paint that matches the color of the grille. Do not forget to make slots, for which we will mount it to the body.
To fix the finished door to the case we use a cable clamp. We fix both loops with a clamp in the small holes made in the case.
In the upper part of the case we make a round hole for the lock, instead of which a cable gland is used. Install and verify its operation.
We make a handle from a plumbing clamp, bending it and making a thickening for easy carrying. In the case we make holes for fastening. Fasten the handle on both sides.
Our carrying is ready, it remains only to put a soft litter inside.
