For work, we need:
- a large log;
- ax;
- marker;
- chainsaw;
- hammer;
- polyethylene
- furniture stapler.
When everything is prepared - get to work.
First of all, our log needs to be sanded, cleaned of bark. You can do this with an ax.
Marker or pencil, you can even write well with chalk, denote the cut lines. We retreat from the edge by 5-10 cm and draw on both sides of the line about 15-10 cm from the top point of the log, connect them with horizontal lines.
After this, we begin to make cuts along the marked lines with a chainsaw. To make it convenient and easy to remove the excess part of the log, we saw with a chainsaw a large piece into small transverse strips 2-3 cm wide.
Then, using a hammer and an ax, we knock out these strips from the log. The result should be a kind of bench with slight restrictions on the edges.
Now you need to determine the depth of cut. On the side of the log cut, mark the desired depth with a marker. Then we apply the sawing part of the chainsaw to the cut and look at how much it is approximately necessary to deepen the saw into the wood. You can even make a mark with a marker on the canvas, so as not to be mistaken.
We begin to make longitudinal and transverse cuts along the perimeter of the future flowerbed. Do not forget to backtrack at least 5 cm from the edge so that the walls of the future flowerbed can easily withstand the ground, which will be filled there.
Now you need to choose a core. We will do this with an ax and a hammer. This is a rather time-consuming process that requires efforts. but the result will justify any costs.
Our flowerbed is ready.In order for it to last as long as possible, it should be covered with polyethylene inside, secured around the entire perimeter with a furniture stapler.
Now you can fill the ground and plant flowers.
