A shelf is a necessary thing in every apartment. On it you can put books, flowerpots with flowers or souvenirs that were presented by people close to you. We propose to independently create a horizontal shelf and place flower pots on it that do not like bright sunlight.

Materials and tools for work:
- wood waste;
- saw;
- cardboard or plywood;
- terracotta pots;
- ropes;
- roulette;
- drill;
- brushes and paints;
- plants;
- marker;
- level gauge;
- a metal ring.
We sorted out the materials. You can start making our shelf. To do this, take a board and put our flower pot on it. We draw a square with a marker so that each side of it is at a distance of one and a half centimeters from the bottom of the flower pot.
The next thing we take is a saw and cut off a square along the lines.
Repeat the procedure three more times. Now we need to put the flower pot upside down on the obtained squares and circle it with a marker. We make another circle on a piece of paper, cardboard or plywood, but a couple of centimeters of smaller diameter. We get out the circle obtained on paper, thus obtaining a template.
Now we need to attach the template obtained in the previous step to each square exactly in the middle. We fix our squares on the bracket and cut out the inner circles. This can be done with a special saw, which can be purchased at the store.
Now we take our workpieces, we make a hole in the corners. Care must be taken that the holes are at the same distance from the corners, that the shelves are even.
The last stage remained. We cut 4 ropes and tie them into a knot, which we thread into a metal ring, which is necessary for hanging our shelves.
It remains only to hang the ring on the hook and pull the ropes into the holes in the squares. You can fix the squares with knots in the lower parts. The optimal distance between the squares is 30-40 cm, but of course everything depends on the growth of plants, so here everything is on an individual level.
Thus, you can get a beautiful decorative shelf, which is able to decorate not only the cottage, but also the apartment.
