Literally in all science fiction films and books, the heroes used a laser to defeat the enemy. Laser beams flew out of their weapons, cut and incinerated everything around. But time passed and the laser firmly entered everyday life, though not as a weapon. One example of their use is writing to read CDs and DVDs. We will try to use these lasers as a formidable weapon that will destroy everything in its path.
We suggest you watch a video where it will be shown, as in home conditions to do weaponslike from children's cartoons.
To make a laser, we need:
- electrical tape;
- U-shaped box;
- CD rum;
- Battery 3.6 Volts.
We disassemble the drive to extract the laser head from it.
After removing the block, proceed to the extraction of the laser diode.
It should be noted that it is necessary to protect the diode from static electricity. To do this, we shorten all his conclusions.
Having cut off the power cable, we remove the diode in any convenient way.
Next, we assemble a simple circuit, for which a diode will be needed. The circuit will be needed to control its power and to prevent the laser from malfunctioning.
The diode has three outputs, but we need only two of them.
It is possible to power a laser both from a 3.6 Volt battery and from a stabilized power source.
When working with a laser, special red glasses should be used.
Let's try to set fire to something. To no avail.
Again we turn to the remnants of CD rum and pronounce the lens from there. We need to put everything in one building, otherwise we can’t achieve a good result.
We use a U-shaped aluminum profile. He will serve us as a body for our laser weapons.
We isolate all soldering spots, put everything in a metal case.
The lens is attached to plasticine. This will allow you to adjust the position of the lens.
Now you can try. The laser heats the white surface very poorly; in fact, it burns through it also not so hot.
But the dark surface burns and heats up much better than white.
The laser can even set a match on fire.
