The energy of the sun is used in various fields of human activity. It would seem that we managed to get everything we can from the sun - heat, electricity, food, but the human imagination is limitless, and once again you will see this when you look at this homemade.
To begin with, we suggest watching an author’s video, which, although in English, is not so difficult for a concept.
So what we need:
- ordinary plastic bottle;
- metal slate for the roof;
- purified water;
- sandpaper;
- silicone sealant;
- chlorine
Cut off a 9-10 inch piece of metal coating for the roof.
Next, we make the marking and cut out the middle circular part from the roof covering, which in diameter should be 2 mm smaller than the diameter of the bottle.
On the remaining 2 mm, make cuts and twist them up.
We take sandpaper or a metal brush and make scratches on the middle part of the bottle so that the glue is better saturated and fixed.
We glue the bottle and apply silicone sealant so that the structure is completely tight and does not leak.
We take the workpiece and pour about 10 ml of chlorine into it.
The rest is filled with purified water.
The light bulb is actually ready. It remains to install it. And it is installed right on the roof. To do this, we make a hole on the roof along the diameter of the bottle. Then it remains only to put glue on the roof of the room, which needs to be lighted and a bottle installed - a bulb in place, that is, put it through the hole on the roof and fix everything with glue.
For better fixation, you can drill several holes on the iron part of the bulb and screw it onto the main roof of the building with screws. Again, do not forget about the need to use sealant so that our roof does not suddenly begin to leak in rainy weather.
Finally, you need to take care of the safety of the cover of our light bulb, which can crack under direct sunlight. To avoid this, we put a plastic stopper of a larger diameter on the bottle cap and cover everything with sealant.
The light is ready.It is perfect for lighting small rooms, which are usually not used at night. Thus, such a simple bulb will allow you to illuminate the barn in the country without the need for electric light.
