True lovers auto always try to make their cars look beautiful and presentable. To do this, it is not always enough just to wash the car well. Correct and high-quality polishing will help you make the car attractive and bright.
In this video you can see a lesson on polishing properly.
For polishing we need:
- shampoo;
- water;
- a bucket;
- polishing machine;
- rough corrugated washcloth;
- hose;
- solvent 646;
- napkins;
- washcloth.
First of all, we need to wash the car well. Be sure to remove sand from all hard-to-reach places, it will be problematic with your hands and a washcloth, so take a hose, make a bigger head and wash out all the excess. Sand needs to be removed from all cracks and moldings so that it does not get on the washcloth and does not settle on the washcloth during polishing the car.
After the car dries, we need to get rid of bitumen. It is on every machine and most often settles from the bottom. To remove stains from bitumen we will use 646 solvent.
We put on protective gloves, moisten the cloth with solvent and begin to wash bitumen from the surface of the car.
If you see rusty dots on the body, then you do not need to try to paint over them or do something else with them. When braking, dust bounces off the pads. Be sure to go through all the moldings with a rag and solvent.
If there is damage on the body and there are scratches, then do not rush to repaint them. Try to remove with a solvent, 70% of such stains are removed with a rag dipped in 646 solvent.
Now we take a polishing machine with a nozzle from a corrugated washcloth.
On this washcloth we will apply Fast Cut PLUS crepe paste with the number 50417. The bottle should be with a green cork.
The scariest thing in the car is the canting (the place where the metal is bent), if you fade it wrong, then you can burn off the paint, and the car will have to be repainted at your expense. When we have a canton, the washcloth should move out of it, but in no case run into it. Because if she starts to run into him, then the paste accumulates on the edge and tries to get through the narrowest place. As a result, the varnish burns.
Put the paste on a washcloth, not very much. We proceed to polishing by lightly spraying the surface with water. Smear a little pasta pop surface and turn on the machine at low speeds. When polishing, it is important not to overheat the surface of the varnish, but at the same time heat to the desired temperature to polish. Therefore, when polishing, always check the surface to see how it is heated. If she starts to burn her hand - it's time to stop and let her cool.
It is necessary to process a car surface in small parts. If you see that the paste dries out a little - sprinkle it lightly with water. It is necessary to polish the surface until all glare on it merges into one or more or less clear reflection appears.
We wipe the polished places with a microfiber cloth.
