Hoods today have become not only a necessity in the kitchen, but also a decorative element in the interior. There are also hoods for other rooms, for example for the bathroom. They can be purchased at almost any home appliance store, but why go to the store, look for a long time and try to find something to your taste, if you can make a real hood in home conditions from ordinary computer coolers.

So, for the manufacture of hoods, we need:
- 4 computer coolers;
- plywood;
- power supply from a computer;
- drill;
- drill;
- screws;
- a hacksaw;
- electrical tape;
- A connector for the power supply from the computer.
The connectors for the power supplies have 2 power supplies at once: one is 12 volts, the second is 5. We need the first, to which the yellow and black wires usually go.
Next, solder the yellow and red wires of all 4 coolers in parallel so that as a result we get one two-wire wire, which will be connected to the computer's power supply.
Be sure to pay attention to the direction of air movement in the cooler. Especially for this, the manufacturers of these devices make marks on the side parts in the form of arrows that indicate the direction.
The author of the video uses organic glass as plywood. We take plexiglass and cut off the piece we need in size with a hacksaw.
We put our coolers on plexiglass and mark the places of holes for fasteners. Drill with a drill.
When all the holes have been drilled, we fasten the coolers to the organic glass with screws.
The next thing we need to take care of the holes through which air will pass. When using a conventional drill, you can come up with a kind of mesh and drill several holes with an ordinary drill of small diameter. When drilling with a large diameter drill, plexiglass will crack.
We are at the finish line, which means that we need to start soldering the wires. Once again, we note that the red and black wires coming from the coolers must be soldered to the yellow and black wires of the connector, otherwise the coolers will not receive enough power, and accordingly they will spin very slowly.
It remains only to assemble the finished structure, install it where necessary and enjoy the fresh air.
