Making a vacuum mold from a plastic bottle

So, we need to have on hand:
- vacuum cleaner;
- building hair dryer;
- plastic bottle;
- adhesive tape;
- stationery knife;
- any mold.

Let's start with some clarifications. A building hair dryer can be called a rarity, since it is not found in everyone in the house, therefore, as an alternative, the author advises using the most ordinary household hair dryer. You should also pay attention to the plastic bottle. An ordinary bottle of carbonated juice or lemonade will not work, because the plastic in such bottles is very thin and quickly wrinkles under pressure, losing shape, so the best option would be to use a bottle of shampoo, gel or detergent.

First of all, we need to make an incision with a clerical knife on a plastic bottle. This is necessary in order to put our mold in it. Cutting the top of the bottle is completely unnecessary.

Next, using adhesive tape, we need to carefully wrap the previously made incision.

Next, wrap a little adhesive tape on the neck of a plastic bottle. This is necessary to obtain tightness, since the next thing we have to insert the neck of the bottle into the tip of the vacuum cleaner.

After that, turn on the vacuum cleaner and use a hairdryer to warm up the bottle from all sides.

When using an insufficiently powerful hairdryer, a plastic bottle will not completely repeat the bends of the form, so if there is not enough powerful hairdryer at home, it is better to use a gas burner, not forgetting the optimal distance, so as not to completely melt the plastic.

In the end, it remains only to cut off the excess parts, cut the resulting vacuum mold and pull out the mold that we used.
