New Year is getting closer and closer. We all love multi-colored firecracker salutes and sparklers, which allow you to decorate the holiday and make it more colorful and fun. We offer you New Year's theme material in which we will consider a method of manufacturing a gas cracker from an old cylinder from building foam.

What do we need:
- waste spray from mounting foam;
- lighter;
- a piezoelectric element from a lighter;
- confetti;
- drill;
- drill;
- a hacksaw;
- duct tape.
First of all, we need to cut off the top of our spray can. To do this, you can use a conventional hacksaw for metal.
Next, we drill a hole in the lower part of the cylinder for the diameter of the piezoelectric element.
Now we put the piezo in the hole, after having previously spread the glue on it.
When the glue hardens, we drill another hole of a small diameter so that a wire from the piezoelectric element is inserted through this hole.
Poke the wire into the hole.
Next, we need to adjust our wire from the inside to sparkle inside the can.
Now we drill another hole for refueling gas. This hole can be drilled in any place convenient for you. The author, for example, prefers to do this from the side.
The next step is to prepare a charge of confetti. To do this, we fill the confetti into a regular plastic bag and put it into the top hole of the can. There is no particular need to tamper with confetti. Here it is necessary to take into account one fact that the package must be left slightly outside and opened on the sides.
Next, take the adhesive tape and a piece of plastic bag. We close the neck of our homemade cracker with a piece of package and wrap it with duct tape.
The remaining excess parts of the plastic bag can be cut off with scissors, giving the cracker a more accurate look.
The cracker is ready. It works according to the following principle. We insert the nipple of a gas-filled lighter into the side opening of the cracker.We lower the gas into the cracker and press the lighter piezoelectric button at the bottom of the cracker. The element causes a spark, the gas in the clapperboard ignites, and the clapperboard explodes. It is impossible to say exactly how much gas is needed for the explosion.
