Earlier we published material on the website in which we made a mask. Continuing this topic, we present to your attention a new material in which we will consider how we can fill in a mask made of paper with gypsum and we will also show what impression we get as a result.
According to tradition, we offer the first thing to devote a few minutes to watching the video

Now let's start collecting materials. We will need:
- tap water;
- gypsum;
- sand;
- two containers;
- paper tape;
- cream;
- mask made by us;
- mixer.
We’ll immediately explain that we need one container for diluting gypsum with water, and the second for sand. If there is no mixer at home, then it can be freely replaced with a fork, spoon and even an ordinary wooden stick. The mixer is needed in order to mix gypsum with water, when using alternative tools, it is important to do everything quickly, since gypsum begins to harden very quickly.
First of all, on the top of the mask, we need to do something like a rim using paper tape. This is necessary so that when pouring gypsum, it does not leak.
Now we take a cream, with which we must thoroughly coat the inside of the mask so that the gypsum does not stick to it.
It is already possible to fill in gypsum, but in order to protect ourselves from possible deformations of the mask, we take a container the size of the mask, pour sand on its bottom.
Next, put the mask in the sand and add a little more sand in a circle. Thus, the sand will give a little stiffness to the mask, which is slightly softened due to the cream.
You can go to the cast. Pour water into the container and pour gypsum into the container.
Mix thoroughly and quickly, making sure that no lumps form.
When the gypsum is mixed with water, you can fill it in a mask.
Now we need to wait until the gypsum has solidified well. It will be about 15 minutes after pouring.
When the gypsum has solidified properly, we need to remove the mask from the sand and clean it from the sand with a brush.
Light irregularities can be corrected with a spatula.There may be some irregularities in the mask, but this is because of the PVA glue we used to make the mask out of paper towels. Later we will make a mask from temokley using the appearance we obtained from plaster.
