Spinning, as you know, is a fishing tackle that needs a special cover or tube. A variety of tubes can be purchased at specialized fishing stores, but why spend extra money if you can make a completely high-quality and original tube in home conditions.
As you might have guessed, we decided to devote this material to the manufacture of a spinning tube, but before you start the manufacturing process itself, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the author’s video.
So we need:
- pipe;
- saw;
- a can with a metal clip on the lid;
- aluminum tube;
- a roller from a car belt;
- paper;
- marker;
- drill;
- a drill.
Finding a suitable pipe is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. The author, for example, took it to a car service for installing tinting. The pipe is ready, you can begin to manufacture the tube.
First, cut off the piece we need. We measure 110 cm from the pipe and cut off the resulting piece. Such a piece is perfect for spinning, consisting of two folding parts.
Next, cut the circle from the paper sheet along the diameter of the pipe and make markings on it along the entire diameter. In total, we should get 15 tags. Later on these marks we will drill holes.
The next thing we need to disassemble the jar and remove the lid with a metal clip, which ensures tightness.
Saw off the bottom of the jar, because we do not need it.
We take a double-sided tape and attach a paper template to the pipe.
According to the marks on the paper, we leave the marking on the pipe.
The author uses a drill with a diameter of 4 mm, for which you also need to make markings.
We take a drill and drill holes that will act as ventilation.
Now we take the grommets and rivet them into the holes just drilled. Note that this is done for beauty, so you can skip this step if you want or if there are no eyelets.
We process the upper part of the can and pipe with sandpaper to ensure good bonding.
We glue everything with superglue.
We put back the clamps.
Now let's start making the bottom.On the video there is a recess, which the author fills with password.
We take a piece of aluminum pipe, process it with sandpaper.
We also process the roller and glue it inside the aluminum pipe.
We drill a few holes at the bottom and glue our bottom into place.
The tube is ready. If you wish, you can dream up and do its decoration.
