Modding mobile phones allows everyone to express their emotions and their taste. Everyone knows that Apple gadgets are the most prestigious in the world. In this article, we will consider modding an apple gadget by installing a luminous logo on the back cover.

So we need:
- set of luminous logo;
- iPhone;
- a kit for disassembling the iPhone.
Let's start by looking at the standard set of luminous logo for iPhone phones. They can be purchased in Chinese online stores, and they are very cheap. The standard logo includes an LED, tweezers, two screwdrivers and a special back cover. The author modifies iPhone 4. Using the same technique, you can modify the iPhone 4S.
Let's proceed to the modding of our apple gadget. First of all, turn on the phone.
Next, we need to disassemble the device. To do this, unscrew the two bolts on the lower end of the case. Bolts are located between the speaker holes and the charger socket.
Next, move the back cover a little up, then just unhook it.
The next thing we need to unscrew the panel, which is located on the right side of the camera. It is mounted on five bolts.
Take the tweezers and remove the panel.
Next, we need to open the two connectors that are located at the top of the battery.
We connect the positive wire coming from the LED to the open contact.
We seal the wire with electrical tape, which comes complete with the logo and cover.
Put the removed panel in place.
The second wire coming from the LED we need to attach to the total mass. And this mass is under the bolt in the upper right corner.
We attach the LED tape, which comes with the logo.
Finally we collect back our iPhone. It should be noted that in place of the factory cover, we need to put the cover, which is in the set of the LED logo, since the logo on this cover is transparent, which is important to obtain the desired effect.
