Necessary materials and tools
● Cardboard box;
● A4 white paper;
● Glue gun;
● Fabric;
● Braid;
● Needle;
● Threads;
● Scissors.
Take any box of the right size and cut off the tops that cover the box.
Then paste the box on the outside with sheets of paper. You can use sheets of A4 format, but it is more convenient to use A3, since less sheets will need to be glued. It is necessary to glue the box with paper so that then the pattern on the box does not shine through the fabric. Seal one hole for the transfer box, cut out the other. Fasten sheets with adhesive tape or glue gun.
Cut the pieces of the desired size from the fabric and stick them on the box using the glue gun, while making allowances.
Bend side allowances to adjacent sides, allowances from above to the inside of the box, and allowances from below to the bottom of the box.
To the size of the front and back of the box, cut smaller pieces of fabric, bend the slightly long sides and fix them with threads. Do not forget to make allowances above and below.
Stick fabric on the box front and back, cut a hole.
Bend the bottom allowances to the bottom of the box.
Take a wide braid and stick it with a glue gun on top of the perimeter of the box, while bending half of the braid inside the box.
Glue the tape from the bottom too, but do not bend it.
Paste the hole from the inside with tape, bending half inward.
