Let's continue the festive and New Year theme. In previous materials, we examined several methods for making homemade crackers, learned how to make a pneumatic cracker reusable. This material will also be devoted to the manufacture of homemade crackers, however, it will differ from all previous ones in its extreme simplicity and affordability.
So, we present to your attention the author’s video on the manufacture of a simple clapperboard from a plastic bottle.
Now let's see what we need:
- a plastic bottle with a valve;
- pipe;
- nipple;
- pump;
- confetti.
First, note that you need to choose a pipe that will be inserted on the valve of the plastic bottle. Materials and costs are minimal, so you can safely get to work and create a festive mood.
The first thing we need to do is make a hole at the bottom of the lid. The hole should have a diameter so that the nipple passes and holds as tightly as possible. We will add from us that, if desired, you can use a glue gun for greater tightness.
Next, insert the nipple into the hole made at the bottom of the bottle.
When we did this we take the pipe and fasten it to the bottle valve. The pipe in this case will play two roles at once. Firstly, it will be a kind of trigger, and secondly, we will pour confetti into it.
Our simple clapperboard is actually ready. It works on the principle of pneumatic crackers. That is, you need to pump air into the bottle through the nipple in the lower part, pour confetti into the pipe and pull the trigger. The pipe will open the valve on which it is attached, and the air that has accumulated in the bottle will immediately exit it in the only available way.
In this way, you can make a very simple reusable clapper on your own, the assembly of which will take only a few minutes. We wish you a festive mood.
