Recently, two ordinary projects were presented on our website. football fan pipeas well as one pneumatic pipe project. Good news for cycling enthusiasts: not only football fans, but also amateurs can use the super tune of bicycles, because after a short and simple modification, an ordinary fan pipe can be converted into a pneumatic signal for a bicycle.
As always, the first thing we bring to your attention is the author’s video on the manufacture of a pneumatic signal.
What we need:
- plastic bottle;
- a syringe;
- juice straw;
- balloon;
- toilet barrel valve;
- a hose for the diameter of the valve inlet.
Surely our regular readers realized that a syringe, a tube and a balloon would be used to make a fan’s pipe or pipe. You can read exactly how to do this in one of the previous materials, so we will not repeat the whole process.
The only difference from the previous project will be a much stronger stretch of the balloon, which will make using the dudel with your mouth simply useless.
The next thing we have to do is make a hole at the bottom of the tank. The author uses a 2-liter plastic bottle from Coca-Cola, however, if desired, you can use a half-liter, given that the buzz length will depend on the size of the container.
We insert a nipple into the hole made.
Next, we disassemble the toilet valve. We remove the handle and the upper part so that the handle remains, which we glue in the neck of the bottle.
We twist back the valve or, more simply, the upper part.
It is important that the iron part of the valve is always closed. To do this, the author uses the usual rubber bands for bills, which simply attracts the valve lever to the air outlet.
Thus, we get a vacuum in the bottle, because air cannot enter there due to a closed valve. In the end, it remains only to connect one end of the hose to the air outlet on the valve, and the other end to the pipe.
The signal works as follows.When we pump air into the bottle from the nipple in the lower part, pressure is generated in it, which does not go anywhere, since the valve is closed. Once the valve is opened, the pressure will fall into the tin and it will work.
