I think everyone used to have a tablet that loses its signal level due to the specification of the structure of the house or due to a weak built-in antenna. And today I want to tell how to strengthen this very antenna in your gadget.
To do this, to begin with, it was necessary to open the tablet body, then visually found the Wi-Fi module and soldered to its standard antenna, the antenna from the old laptop which has a larger area and gain.
How I did it I will now tell and show.
And so we need a minimum of details:
• Chinese tablet (which does not catch Wi-Fi signal well)
• Wi-Fi antenna from an old laptop (I took from an old SONY laptop)
• Soldering iron
• Solder
• Flux
We have an old tablet and our antenna from a laptop
And here is the antenna separately (it is located at the top of the laptop cover)
Next, we disassemble our tablet and look for a Wi-Fi card near which our weak antenna is located, which we will strengthen.
And so, we find our antenna and we clean the varnish coating in order to tin our antenna
Once tinned, you can take on the antenna of the laptop, which also needs to be modified a little, take the antenna and tidy it from the side that we will solder to the board of our tablet
after we tinned both the board and the antenna of the laptop, the following picture opens before us
Well, now you can proceed to the next step, namely, collecting our workpieces in one.
That's what we get by soldering the antenna to the tablet board
Well, now that the assembly is finished, we collect our pumped tablet, turn it on and test it.
Before we installed the antenna, the signal level was minimal
But after pumping it has grown significantly, as you yourself can see
Good luck to everyone, thank you for your attention)
