If you have a garden on the plot, then it must be supplemented with a wooden bench. Sitting on a makeshift garden bench, it will be so nice to admire the flowers!
We will need:
- logs;
- boards;
- paper, pencil;
- deck cover;
- drills, drill;
- cogs, a tool for cutting wood, as well as its processing.
If all the materials are at your fingertips, then you can proceed to create a shop!
Step 1
Create a sketch of a future bench in advance on a piece of paper. The size of the bench directly depends on the amount of materials that we need. Length and width are adjusted independently.
Step 2
Now prepare the wood from which you will make the legs of the garden bench: cut into five pieces, the same length. Five pieces are needed for each leg.
Step 3
Next, use a pencil to mark on eight boards at equal intervals between the strips, so that later you know where to drill holes. They will be located in the Christmas tree so that the legs turn out to be stronger. Two pieces of wood do not touch yet.
Step 4
Drill holes at the marked points.
Step 5
Prepare boards for the seat: cut with identical pieces, work on the edges so as not to get splinter in your fingers.
Step 6
On two intact pieces of bench legs, mark up using a small piece of a seating board. Mark up so that in the end each seat board is securely fixed with a screw.
Step 7
Drill holes at the designated points. Use a drill for this.
Step 8
Now you need to process the seat boards with a protective coating. After that, wait an hour or two for it to dry completely.
Step 9
Go to the most important thing - to collect the garden shop. Place the seat boards on the supports, fasten with clamps.
Step 10
Place the legs in place on the seat boards.
Step 11
Attach the upper boards of legs to the seat of an almost finished bench.
Step 12
Next, fix the remaining leg boards, following each other. We recommend that you use a vice for accuracy.
Now turn over the bench and admire the finished result! The legs of the bench in the style of log cabins perfectly emphasize the naturalness of the materials, successfully fitting into the design of any suburban area!
