To install a Christmas tree at home, you need a reliable stand that can hold a festive tree. A convenient and reliable stand can be made with your own hands, which we will do right now. On the network you can find a lot of options for Christmas coasters, of which we will consider one version of the coasters made of rods and corners.
To make such a stand, you will need:
1. steel corner with a shelf of 40 cm;
2. 1 cm thick bar;
3.2 bolts;
4. 2 nuts;
5. welding machine.
We take a corner from which we cut six pieces. The length of the first two pieces should be equal to 6-8 centimeters, and the length of the remaining pieces should be equal to about 2-4 centimeters. You also need to take care of the legs, which should be made of bars 20 cm long.
Thus, we prepared the necessary blanks. Then you can start processing. Short corners need to be bent to obtain an angle equal to 135 degrees. You can use a conventional hammer for this. After that, in one of the sides of each corner you need to make a hole for the diameter of the bolts.
After that, you can begin to bend the bars. They need to be bent in two places. The first fold should be about 3 cm from the first tip, and the second fold should be 10 cm from the second end. The angle of each bend should be equal to 135 degrees.
At this step, you need a welding machine, which we weld the rods and corners in turn. We weld the rods to the corners of a large size, one bar on each side. You need to weld near the folds of the corners. After that we take small corners, which also need to be welded to large ones. Small corners also cook one on each side.
After that, we should get two elements. It is clear that to install the Christmas tree you just need to pinch it between them, fixing these parts with nuts and bolts.
