Nowadays, a lot of varieties of drugs have been created. But one of the most effective cold medicine is the old proven treatment - inhalation. The advantage of inhalation is that you do not use any chemistry, as you do when treated with pills or injections. At present, a lot of varieties of liquid for inhalation and the devices themselves have been created, with which you inhale. You can purchase such devices in pharmacies, but why spend money if you can make the inhaler yourself in home conditions!

As a container for the solution, we will use a thermos. Firstly, you can travel with him for long distances and carry out procedures on the way, and secondly, the thermos keeps the heat very well and you do not have to boil water several times during one inhalation procedure.

As the device itself, we use an ordinary plastic bottle.

So, first we cut off the neck of the plastic bottle and trim it with scissors so that the neck fits snugly into your airways without problems, that is, so that the structure seals the mouth and nose tightly and there are no gaps:

After that we need to make two valves. One valve will be responsible for inhaling, and the other for exhaling.

So, first you need to get the gasket, which is located inside the cover:

Next, mark it up as shown in the photo and carefully cut it along the marked lines:

In the lid itself, we make a small hole

Carefully place the trimmed gasket on the bottom of the lid and twist the threaded connection of the lid. We get such a design here:

This valve will allow us to inhale the contents, but to exhale we need to make another valve:

To do this, carefully make a small hole in the cut neck. Next, take the electrical tape, fold it in half so that a small piece of electrical tape remains sticky.

Now we attach the electrical tape so that the non-sticky part covers the hole in the neck.

Now we pour the solution into the thermos, place our neck with valves on top and breathe.

It turns out that when inhaling one valve opens, and when exhaling, this valve closes, and another valve opens instead!
