The beautiful decor of the interior testifies to the good taste of the owner of the house, and if the decorative elements are made with your own hands, this is a double plus. In this article we will consider a method of manufacturing a sophisticated decorative element - a sconce from bamboo.
Consider the necessary materials and tools:

Not everyone can have a circular saw. If you also cannot boast of having such a tool at home, then you can replace the saw with a conventional electric jigsaw. Let's get to work.
The first thing you need to do is cut. It needs to be done about 2.5 centimeters from the inner membrane. Thus, we cut out several blanks.
After that, you can start choosing the most suitable shapes and sizes of the workpiece from which we will make a sconce.
The remaining workpieces are processed and painted from the inside. The paint will protect the workpieces from the appearance of fungi on them.

The upper and lower parts of the sconce should be made of one solid piece. When working with a circular saw, if desired, you can give the workpiece a beautiful cut at a certain angle. However, if desired, this can be done with an electric jigsaw.
We cut off the membrane, which will necessarily complicate the process of installing a bulb holder.
We proceed to the next step - the preparation of fasteners. To do this, we put two parts of the lampshade on top of each other, after which we take a pencil and make marks on the places where the side mounts will be located. Marks are transferred to the back. Find the center and make a mark. This mark will be the axis of the mounting hole.
The upper and lower sconce elements will be connected by M6 studs. To do this, take a drill 5 mm and drill holes about 10 mm deep. These holes will be the stroke for the studs.
The thread can be cut with an M6 bolt. Since bamboo is not a very rough tree, there will be no problems during this process.
Thus, to connect the sconce elements to each other, you will need 4 pins. Each of them should have a length of approximately 6 cm. The lamps on the side light fixtures are located between the lower and upper elements. Our sconces will not be an exception. To simplify the task, before you connect the ceiling to the wall part, you need to determine exactly where the lower mounting pin will be located, which in our case also acts as the base of the cartridge. It should be noted that the distance directly depends on the type of bulb. When using an energy-saving light bulb, the distance may not be great.
After determining the maximum rational distance, you need to take care of the power wires that will pass between the studs.
Let's get down to the wall element. We make a hole for the dowel on it. We process this element, after which we grind it, remove the top layer of wood, so that the structure of the tree becomes more visible. After that, paint the bamboo. For painting the inner part, you can use paint, and the outer part is covered with a stain. If desired, you can burn some kind of pattern or pattern. In the end, be sure to apply a couple of layers of varnish.
Finally, you can start assembling the sconces. We twist the cartridge, after which we wind the tow on the studs. We fasten the cartridge on a hairpin, making sure that the cartridge is in the center. You can center the nuts. After that, we need to remove the wires from the cartridge. Following this, it is necessary to fasten the wall part. Then we twist the wires, not forgetting about the insulation. We close the fasteners, as well as the wiring on the heels, and then wrap them with tow. By collecting such sconces, you can get unique and spectacular decorative elements that guests will surely like and will surprise friends and relatives.
