Paper towels can be called an indispensable element of modern kitchen. In order to ensure that the kitchen is properly organized and paper towels do not lie anywhere, you can use holders that you can buy in specialized stores. However, we do not advise you to rush with the purchase, since in this article we will consider the method of hand-made manufacturing of a wooden holder.
Compared to plastic store holders, a self-made wooden one will last much longer. In addition, it will be more environmentally friendly.
Consider the materials and tools we need:
1. pieces of a wooden board 2 cm thick;
2. steel wire;
3. self-tapping screws;
4. Bulgarian;
5. grinding nozzle;
6. drill.
First of all, you need to cut a rectangle from a piece of board. The dimensions of the rectangle should be equal to 33x10 cm.
It is also necessary to cut two identical rectangles measuring 10x12 cm.
We take the grinder, which needs to cut one corner, giving it a round shape.
We put the grinding nozzle on the grinder and carefully grind all the parts of the holder until a perfectly smooth surface is obtained.
The next step is to take a 36 cm long wire. One edge of the wire needs to be wrapped to form a hook.
Let's move on to assembling the parts of the holder. We fix the side parts to the back with self-tapping screws.
After that, we take a drill and a drill, which is equal to the diameter of the steel wire and drill through holes on the side parts of the holder.
On the back part, we drill three holes, or rather, recesses, which should reach approximately the middle of the board.
Insert the wire into the holes on the walls.
The next step is to insert three self-tapping screws into the recesses on the back. We take a drill or screwdriver to screw these screws into place, that is, into the wall.
A holder designed for paper towels. To install a towel in the holder, you need to remove the steel wire from one side, put a roll of paper towels on it, and then push the wire back into place.
