Almost all push buttons fixturessuch as a television remote control, telephone, calculator break down when used for a long time. Most often, the breakdown consists in the fact that by pressing the buttons on the remote control the channel does not switch, or you need to make strong efforts to make the button work. In order not to spend money and not buy a new remote, the author suggests that we repair our remote.

To repair a button product, we need glue, scissors and conductive paper.

You can conduct an experiment to understand whether this or that paper conducts electric current. Just take two batteries and a small light bulb, attach a light bulb to the contact, and connect the other contact to paper that conducts current and see if the light comes on:

Once you have picked up the paper, you can proceed directly to the remote control repair itself. We disassemble the remote control as it is shown in the photo and carefully remove the rubber part - the buttons themselves. We see that from the back of the buttons there are special black rubber parts that are responsible for the correct and adequate operation of the buttons themselves. Most often, the problem lies precisely in these small black parts.

To fix the problem, we take scissors and gently cut off part of the conductive paper, the same size as the dimensions of the black rubber part of the remote control and gently glue the paper on the black part

Now carefully assemble the remote control and try to press the button that we fixed. As you can see, everything works, and you do not put in a lot of effort to switch the channel.

Thus, today the author showed us how he himself could in home repair the button device, in particular the television remote control, from home appliances and:

and I made it easier. Disassemble the remote control, there is such a viscous substance on the circuit, something like an "electrolyte", that is, this substance is conductive. Just take it and smear it with your finger throughout the scheme, especially the contacts. After that, the remote control becomes like new.

It’s just that when working this very substance is forced out and dries on the rubber buttons and the contact disappears.
Thanks to your site! I have a remote control from a YAMAHA receiver that has been responding tightly to button presses lately. On the Internet, the price of the remote control is about 2 tr. Thanks to you, I regained working capacity in 15 minutes :)
