In one of the previous materials, we reviewed the video, which was devoted to the manufacture of air or reusable crackers. In this material, we present to your attention another option that is more budget and easier than the previous one.
We offer to start by watching the author’s video on making crackers
So we need:
- tap for PVC pipes;
- PVC pipe;
- a stub;
- drill with a diameter of 8 mm;
- spool;
- fum tape;
- a screwdriver or a drill;
- glue gun.
Two pieces must be cut out of the PVC pipe - one 55 cm long and the other 14 cm. Let's get started.
The first step is to connect the pipe pieces with a plug and a faucet. The author of the video has the outer diameter of the pipe slightly larger than the inner diameter of the plug, so he has to handle the pipe with a knife. If you also encounter a similar problem, you can solve it in the same way as the author does.
The next step is to make a hole for the spool. We mark the place of the future hole at 20 centimeters from the edge of the pipe.
Drill a hole with a screwdriver or drill at low speeds.
Before you insert the spool into the hole, you need to wind a couple of turns of fum tape on it so that it stays as stable as possible.
We screw the spool into the drilled hole.
Now you can safely proceed to the final assembly of the cracker. The design should be as follows: a small piece of pipe must be connected to the faucet, a long pipe must be connected to the second input of the faucet, and the second end of the long pipe must be closed with a plug. All parts can be joined with a glue gun.
The cracker is ready. It works according to the following principle. Confetti is poured into a small pipe, then a pump is taken and air is pumped into the large pipe through a spool. At this stage, it is necessary to ensure that the faucet is in the closed position, that is, the small pipe is completely independent of the long one. After filling the long pipe with air, it is enough to open the faucet for the clapper to work.
