So we need:
- PVC pipe;
- two plastic bottles;
- adhesive tape;
- paper;
- lighter for a gas stove;
- sandpaper;
- a hacksaw;
- heat resistant silicone.
The first step is to make the combustion chamber. The author suggests making it from a bottle. Since the bottle may burst due to the power of the explosion, it needs to be sealed with a second one. We take a clerical knife and cut out the top of the bottle.
We also cut the lower part, leaving the middle.
We pass to the middle part, which we cut along to get one strip.
The resulting strip will serve as a sealant, so we put it on the second bottle and carefully wrap it with tape.
Next, we need to cut a piece of PVC pipe and attach it to the cap from a plastic bottle. To do this, cut a piece from the pipe and process the place of cutting with sandpaper.
Next, cut out the top of the lid with a clerical knife.
We also process sandpaper.
Lightly sharpen the tip of the tube so that it fits into the lid.
Glue the cap to the pipe with heat-resistant silicone.
Next to the ignition chamber you need to connect a lighter for a gas stove. To do this, disassemble the lighter.
We remove the upper part, in which a spark is formed and expose the wires.
We take two screws, and screw them into the bottom of the bottle. We wrap two wires on the screws that we connect to the wires in the lighter.
After that, we isolate the wires, thus obtaining a system for supplying sparks to the ignition chamber.
It should be noted that at first the author screws in the middle of the bottle, which, according to him, is not so effective when using alcohol as a fuse. This is explained by the fact that when pouring alcohol into a bottle, it is at the bottom. Vapors of alcohol also have a large concentration at the bottom, so the fuse in the middle does not happen as easily as at the bottom. The rocket launcher is ready, you can start manufacturing rockets.To do this, we will use paper, tape and a piece of PVC pipe, which is attached to the lid.
We take the paper and wrap it around the PVC tube.
We glue the paper with tape to fix it in a wrapped state. Close the open end of the tube with paper and tape.
Since the paper is light, you need to weight the rocket. To do this, just wrap it with electrical tape.
We cut out small stabilizers of a triangular shape from a piece of cardboard and glue them on a rocket with a glue gun. Stabilizers are needed in order for the rocket to fly smoothly.
