In the technologically developed 21st century, we do not cease to enjoy reading ordinary books. Often during the day we don’t have time to read a couple of lines. I have to do it at night. But how to read at night without turning on the light in the room so as not to disturb the sleeping members of the family? So what we need:
- source of power;
- 3 LEDs;
- pin;
- aluminum cover;
- 2 wires 14 cm and 5 cm long;
- screws of various shapes;
- pliers;
- stationery knife;
- drill with a diameter of 3 mm;
- screwdriver;
- soldering iron;
- toggle switch.
The author of the idea uses two finger-type batteries as a power source, which must be connected in series, having received 3 volts at the output, which is enough to light up the LEDs. Let's get started.
Both ends of the wires need to be rounded with pliers to get rings.
Next, you need to make two holes in the clothespin. To do this, take a screwdriver and a drill. Holes are necessary in order to attach the battery compartment with screws, so when drilling, pay attention to the distance of the holes.
It is also necessary to drill a hole in the cover.
We attach the battery compartment to the clothespin.
Now you need to connect the two wires. To do this, put the rings on the ends of the wires on top of each other and insert a screw and a nut, fixing it in this position.
The ring that is on the second end of the long wire is similarly attached to the clothespin.
We solder the LEDs in a sequential manner.
It is also necessary to make a hole on the side of the toggle switch cover.
We put the toggle switch into the hole and fix it. You can use a glue gun for this.
We attach the LEDs inside the cover by inserting the wires through the hole that was drilled first. Together with the wires we put another screw into the hole.
This screw is needed in order to connect the lid to the wire structure.
The minus from the LEDs is displayed through the toggle switch and connected to the minus from the batteries.
Plus from the LEDs you can connect to the screw. Thus, the plus will go through the entire structure of the wire, so that the plus from the batteries will need to be connected to a screw on the clothespin.
A convenient and portable lamp for reading books can be used not only at home, but also on hikes and other places where there is no lighting.
