Now in the store you can easily buy household chemicals for the toilet. That's just all the means run out pretty quickly, besides, it is not so easy to find a pleasant aroma. Replaceable blocks often have to be changed, each time additionally cleaning the toilet with a brush. Therefore, we suggest that you make your own chemical product for the toilet bowl - it will allow you to minimize the listed household chores.
We will need:
- a plastic bottle of 0.33 liters;
- cable tie;
- heat gun;
- hydrochloric acid;
- a piece of semi-rigid plastic;
- window cleaner or liquid soap with aroma;
- marker and scissors.
Step 1
First, pour the required amount of water into the bottle. Putting it on the scales, you should see a mark of 260 grams - this amount of liquid will be quite enough. In addition, the author of this master class this amount was enough for several months! The main part of the solution will be from hydrochloric acid, and twenty grams is a window cleaner or soap (at your discretion). Note - you can’t fill the bottle to the brim! Empty space in it is a must!
Step 2
Put the bottle cap on a piece of synthetic rag, then circle it with a marker, leaving a circle of five millimeters in a circle. Cut the resulting circle with scissors.
Step 3
Further, the author cut a straight strip from semi-rigid plastic. Secured it with a cable tie, while turning the bottle upside down. Half of the strip goes beyond the edge of the bottle - it should be so.
Step 4
Now blow plastic from the heat gun with air. He should grab her at the place of contact with the container, arrange the upper part in the form of a hook. If necessary, you can tighten the screed more tightly. Everything is shown in the photo.

Do not neglect the next step! Wear protective gloves !!! Only gloves should work with chemicals: pour hydrochloric acid into the bottle, as well as detergent. Hydrochloric acid here plays the role of a "destroyer" of dirt and plaque that forms in the toilet.Detergent in a weak concentration forms a soap film - it enhances the effect of acid. The design is designed so that the acid will be delivered in doses. There will be practically no foam, and an obsessive strong aroma, too. This is the advantage of a homemade toilet tool over purchased gels and blocks.
But when using such a product, do not use whiteness! In combination with acid, whiteness will begin to produce very harmful fumes. Although you don’t need whiteness, you yourself can make sure that with a home-made toilet bowl it will remain snow-white for a long time.
Step 6
Insert the cut-out circle of synthetic fabric into the cap, spin the bottle, only do not fully tighten. About the middle of the cover should be loosened.
Step 7
Now you can safely place the bottle upside down in the toilet bowl. Be sure to secure it with a plastic hook. The bottle should not interfere with the moving structure.
That's it - the toilet cleaning system will now work for you! But it acts very simply: when the tank is filled with water, the water seems to press on the lid, so its composition does not leak into the water. But if you lower the water level in the tank below the level of the bottle, the solution will fall into the tank in the form of several droplets, therefore, then the drops will fall into the toilet, cleaning it!
