Attention needlework! Using this simple instruction, you can make a unique birdhouse yourself (or involving children, friends, relatives or like-minded people).

You will need:
- wooden boards
- saw
- drill
- hammer

Step 1: Making a plastic window
Remove the top panel from the CD case. Carefully remove the latches there. Gently pull them down. You will hear a crack and they will break off.
Then, using a drill, make one small hole in each corner.
Step 2 Strap preparation
To do this, take wooden boards, customize them to the sizes we need
Recommended: 15.25 cm wide and 1.25 thick boards. Using a ruler, we mark along the prepared surface with marks of 12.5 cm, 25.4 cm, 38.1 cm, 50.8 cm. Thus, we get 4 parts for the walls of the birdhouse, measuring 15.24 x 12.7 cm. Now, using a saw, we cut the board according to the marks you made .
Step 3: We make an entrance to the birdhouse
At this stage, we can offer 2 options for making the entrance to the birdhouse (whose diameter will be 3.8 cm).
First option:
Mark the prepared bar.
After you have deduced the central point for entry, we cut it out with a drill.
Second option
Omitting all the technical markings, we cut out the entrance to the birdhouse "by eye".
Step 4: Set the perch for birds
This step is optional, but recommended to give the birdhouse completeness.
Drill a small hole under the inlet with a drill. Find a small piece of wood that will be slightly larger than the hole you made.
Give the wood a wedge-shaped shape, and so that it fits tightly into the hole, use a knife to sharpen the wedge, as shown in photo 4.
Insert the resulting perch into the hole, and cut off the excess on the back.
Thus, it is quite realistic to establish a stable perch without using any glue!
Step 5: Give the hammer to work.
From the prepared planks we collect the birdhouse itself.Using nails and a hammer, we fix 4 parts together, and a prepared cover from the CD is nailed to the back wall, thus we decorate the birdhouse with a plastic window.
It remains to complete the birdhouse roof.
In order to take two wooden planks, the difference in their length should be 1.3 cm. We fix it on the birdhouse with a hammer and nails.
Add the last stroke of the hook, for which you can hang a birdhouse.
Step 6: We hang the birdhouse and wait for the guests.
Hang a birdhouse in front of the window. When the birds decide to visit you, you can admire them whenever you want!
