Many of us have a lot of old things in the attic that used to mean something to us. It’s a pity to throw such things away, but we don’t know where to apply them.
We suggest you create a one-of-a-kind thing from the oldest Atari 800XL computer: a wireless toilet paper dispenser. For craftsmen to do with their hands to do this is not difficult. The whole project will take a couple of hours.
If you do not have such a rare computer at hand, then all the missing parts can be bought in the market or in the store. It will be very cheap.
Let's collect!
Using a screwdriver, remove several bolts and brackets that hold the computer case together and disassemble it into parts. Do not discard bolts and brackets: they will help us when assembling our dispenser. We do not need internal content.
In warm soapy water, remove all plaque from body parts.
To give the case a beautiful look, we suggest you paint it on the outside with, for example, white paint, and inside paint on silver to match the toilet paper holder.
After the paint has completely dried, we fix the toilet paper holder on the back wall inside the case with the most resistant superglue.
We take the front of the computer and use the same super durable glue to glue the screen itself to the case. This is the front side of our product, so we take the glue translucent, and apply it very carefully so that there are no traces.
Set the toilet roll on the holder, then close the case.
