Sooner or later, when working in the garage, at home or at the workshop, you often have to clamp soft metals or a threaded part in a vice. To do this, we all begin to look for any improvised means in order to put between the jaws of a vice. The author of this homemade went the other way, decided to do everything culturally and conveniently.
It is very convenient to use and make the pads.
And so for their manufacture you will need the following:
1) Two wooden blocks or thick rubber
2) A piece of tin
3) screws
4) Magnets
First you need to cut or pick up two wooden bars for the size of the vise cheeks.
Then cut the desired size of the sheet
We take the selected magnets or one magnet, who finds what. We put everything in a vise and adjust the size of our piece of tin
The magnets should be glued, and the bars should be screwed on for self-tapping screws.
We do the same with the other half of the pads.
And here's how everything looks beautiful in working condition
This product is stored even easier and will always be at hand.
