Necessary materials and tools:
- copper tubes, 0.5 inches, 12 cm long
- copper T-fittings - 2 pcs.
- copper elbow fittings - 3 pcs.
- copper plugs - 2 pcs.
- epoxy resin
- glass funnel
- coffee filters
- scissors
- pipe cutter
- pliers
- a piece of fabric
- felt
- sandpaper.
Detailed manufacturing description:
Step 1: First, we need to cut the tubes into pieces. The length of the coffee maker's pipes depends on the height of your mugs. To cut a copper tube, it is enough to outline the cut line with a pipe cutter.
Step 2: After trimming the tube, we clean it from fine dust with a hard felt.
Step 3: Next, the ends of the tubes must be sanded with sandpaper. Only those areas that should be hidden under the fittings need to be sanded.
Step 4: We assemble the entire design of the coffee maker in parts. Using epoxy resin we glue plugs and fittings with tubes.
Step 5: After assembly, wipe off excess epoxy with a dry cloth.
Step 6: Then we again process the surface with hard felt.
Step 7: Insert a glass funnel into the upper T-fitting. Lower the coffee filter into the funnel.
It remains to pour coffee into the filter and pour hot water. And the coffee maker is ready.
