How popular are wooden pallets as a building material for of furniture, you can judge by the number of options offered. Here is another idea, quite simple to implement and very inexpensive.
Step # 1: Materials
You will need: a drill with a set of drills, a saw, screws, a ruler, a pencil and, in fact, pallets.
Step # 2: Cut the Pallet
In our case, a pallet of 110 x 80 cm is used. A small part of the pallet is cut off in order to be used as a back. With the help of screws, the back is attached to the seat.
Step # 3: Side Support
For the sidewalls, small trimmings were used - wooden blocks. Depending on what height they will be located, their length depends. The easiest way to try on a particular bench. A little shorter you can attach another shorter bar to make the support from the sides more convenient and reliable.
Step # 4: Grinding
Before you screw the bench legs, it is worth walking on the surface of the pallet with a grinding machine to remove nicks and irregularities.
Step 5: Attaching the Feet
The length of the bars used to make the legs depends on how high you plan to raise the bench above the ground. The legs are attached on both sides of the front and rear surfaces of the seat.
The bench is ready. It can be covered with wood with a protective composition to prevent the influence of external negative factors and give it a decorative look.
