A man is so arranged, I allow myself some clarification - a smart man is so arranged that he constantly strives to improve living conditions and simplify daily work. So, proposed by the author homemade, belongs to the category of those that facilitate life - help in the hard work of cleaning.
Not every brush with a long handle will allow cleaning with strong pressure. For this, the proposed homemade product is successfully adapted.
So, for a homemade mini mop you will need:
- a piece of PVC pipe - 1 pc.
- PVC coal connection - 1 pc.
- "t" -shaped PVC connection - 1 pc.
- tools: saw, chisel, screwdriver
- a pair of screws
- durable “long-playing” sponge, napkin, which will perform the main task when cleaning and washing - 1 pc.
- soldering iron for connecting PVC pipes.
Step 1.
A “t” -shaped joint is sawn 1 cm on each side. If you want to make the area of the "capture" of the sponge larger, you can leave it in its original size. Next, a strip is cut out to the side, which forms the upper crossbar of the letter "t".
Step 2
The resulting grip is slightly open, so that it is convenient to fix the washing element.
Step 3
A sawed-off strip is applied across the middle of the sponge. A sponge is placed inside the grip, and is pressed between the strip and the wall of the pipe with self-tapping screws.
It remains only to mount a mini mop. A grip with a fixed sponge is soldered to the handle tube, a corner is soldered to the end of the handle tube, so that it is comfortable to hold in hands during pressure. When the washing element is worn, it is easy to replace it with a new one. Ease of manufacture and ease of use is evident.
In the example shown in the photo, the handle and grip are small, most likely this is the best option, but you can increase the length of the handle and the size of the grip if desired.
