Pliers are used in the manufacture of many homemade. In this material, we offer an overview of a quite interesting video on the manufacture of this tool from a wooden bar. This method is unique in that no screws, glue or nails will be used in the manufacturing process.
Let's start by watching the author’s video

So we need:
- wooden block;
- a knife.
According to the author of the idea, it is advised to use softer wood for a better result. Let's get started.
The first thing on the bar is to make two through cuts. For greater clarity, we present the notch scheme below.
So, the cuts need to be made by stepping back from the edges by about 3-4 millimeters. The length of the cuts should be approximately equal to a centimeter. Mark the places of incisions with a pencil and make them with a knife.
The following cuts need to be made at approximately an angle of 45 degrees. The circuit can again be seen in the figure below. Note that these cuts should be made to the middle, and in depth they should reach the through cuts that were made earlier.
It is necessary to make two of the same incisions on the opposite side. Most importantly, these cuts should be parallel to the previous one.
At this stage, there are two more cuts to be made at an angle of 45 degrees, but through the inside of the parallel cuts only in the middle part.
We take a clerical knife and split the upper part of the bar to the notch at an angle of 45 degrees.
We also crack from the bottom cut to the end.
Wooden pliers are ready.
