How to buy on Aliexpress
Aliexpress - A huge online platform, purchases on which you can do from anywhere in the world. In just four years, the Chinese retailer has seriously squeezed such online trading giants as Ebay and Amazon. The store’s interface is constantly being improved, but beginners still have a lot of questions. A detailed step-by-step guide on how to buy on Aliexpress will help to avoid problems that you may encounter during the first order.

Register on Aliexpress
Before making a purchase, you must create a personal account. On the main page of the site in the upper right corner, find the "Registration" section and select "Register" from the drop-down menu.
On the page that opens, enter the email address, your full name in English (enter the name and patronymic in the "Name" field). Create a password of 6 characters or more, confirm it and in the special field enter the code from the image (captcha). Click on the "Create Your Profile" button.

Profile Filling
Again, open the main page and in the upper right corner find the link "My Aliexpress". By clicking on it, you will find yourself in your account, where you need to fill out your profile.
Click on the link Edit Profile in the upper left corner.
On the page that opens, select the Edit Member Profile section.
Here should be the most relevant information about you: last name, first name, middle name, full mailing address, phone number. In the new account, of course, all this is not. Click on Edit at the bottom of the page and start filling out the contact details.
Rules for writing the address:
- write everything in English;
- Fill in all fields marked with an asterisk;
- use the rules of transliteration, you do not need to translate the names into English (street - ul., not str., house - d., not h., apartment - kv., not app., village - selo, not village and etc);
- It is desirable to write a middle name, because Chinese sellers believe that the Russian Post requires it.
If you have completed everything, double-check again and confirm. If successful, you will see the phrase "You have successfully submitted your Member Profile!" Now you can do the actual shopping.
Check if the shopping address has been saved. Go to your personal account ("My Aliexpress"), open the "Operations" tab and click on "Delivery Address" in the drop-down menu. - do not use more than three to four words;
- to exclude unnecessary goods, use the minus sign in front of the keyword (for example, type "phone russian unlocked original -refurbished", and the search will return only branded phones with a Russian interface that have not been restored);
- Use the search filters: free delivery, top rating, only by the piece, sale, seller on the network;
- sort by the number of orders (Orders), the best offer (best choice), price, seller rating, novelty.
How to choose the right product on Aliexpress and not miscalculate
1. To get what you see in the picture and not overpay for it, be sure to compare similar offers from different sellers. Buy only from those sellers who have 97-100% positive reviews, and be sure to go to the store page and open the Feedback tab.
2. Examine the properties of the goods: materials, dimensional grid, technical parameters and so on.
3. Be sure to write to the seller to evaluate how quickly he resolves issues and find out if there is any product that suits you at all. For communication, a little knowledge of English is enough with the support of an online translator.
4. Put the goods in the basket, but do not pay for the purchase until the seller confirms the presence of the position you are interested in.
How to pay for the goods
Checkout. Go to the basket, check the final cost of the goods and click on the "Order from this seller" button. At this stage, you can change the address, write to the seller important, in your opinion, comments and use the coupon.
Payment. At the second stage of order confirmation, you make the payment itself. Select a currency, a means of payment, enter the details of a card or electronic wallet and click "Pay for my order."
If there are enough funds on the card or wallet, the system will confirm the successful completion of the transaction, but Ali will need about 24 hours to verify the payment and receive confirmation from your bank. During this time, you can discuss the remaining issues with the seller. At the end of the check, the order status will change to "Awaiting shipment". From this moment, it all depends on the speed of processing the order with the seller. How to track the package
If the order status has changed from “Awaiting Shipment” to “Awaiting Confirmation,” then the seller sent the parcel and gave the tracker - a unique identification code for the parcel by which it can be tracked.
