Portable charger for mobile phone

The increase in the number and popularity of wearable devices makes our life easier. But what if the charge of the smartphone or tablet runs out at the most inconvenient time? The answer is simple: you only need to have a portable charger, the manufacture of which this review is devoted to.

Let's start by watching the author’s video on the manufacture of such a device

What we need:
- box for the battery;
- 18650 battery at 6000 mAh, 3.7 volts;
- diode;
- any building;
- a board with a USB connector;
- glue gun.

The author uses an old camera as an enclosure. Note that the case must be taken so that at any time it is possible to open it to remove the battery. A board with a USB connector will increase the battery voltage to 5 volts. Let's get started.

You should start with the assembly. We install in the case a board with a USB connector and a box for the battery.

The diode has a bright part called the cathode. This is a minus. The next part is called the anode, and this is respectively a plus. It is necessary to solder the minus from the battery with the minus of the diode.

The back end of the diode must be soldered to the minus board.

Plus from the battery we solder to the plus of the board. In this case, the diode is inserted so that the battery of the mobile device cannot charge the battery, which is used in a makeshift charger.

After soldering all the components, we assemble them in the case, gluing in their places with a glue gun.

After that, our portable charger is completely ready.

tarus, a diode is needed here so that if you accidentally put the battery in, the converter board doesn’t burn so (the one itself was
And in general, the case is moronic.
The design is not finalized. The USB board is specifically a boost converter. The diode is not needed, the current will not work back, but some kind of switch is needed so that the converter does not eat the battery constantly. And how do you say you will charge this battery? We need another board with USB (micro USB), or rather a lithium battery charge controller.
