Everyone knows that LED lamps consume about 10 times less energy than incandescent lamps. At the same time, the price of LED lamps is several times higher than the price of incandescent lamps. We suggest not rushing to the store, because if you have the appropriate materials and components, you can assemble the LED lamp yourself home conditions without spending special funds. Links to the components of this version will be given at the end of the review.
Let's start with the author’s video
What do we need:
- with a voltage of 9-12 volts;
- ;
- radiator;
- thermal grease;
- pin;
- a plastic flower pot;
- power cord;
- a few bolts;
- plastic clamps.
The radiator can be easily removed from an old computer video card. Also note that according to the author, the LED will heat the radiator to about 40 degrees Celsius, so you need to provide good ventilation. To do this, we make several holes at the bottom of the pot.
We solder the LED and the driver without confusing polarity.
Solder the network cable. In this case, the polarity does not need to be observed.
We isolate the soldering spots.
Now you need to screw the LED to the radiator, but before that you need to apply thermal grease to the LED.
In the pallet from the pot, cut a hole to the size of the LED, and also drill several holes for ventilation and two holes for attaching the pallet to the radiator.
We assemble the design.
Now you need to assemble both parts of the lamp. To do this, we will use the long screws with which we fix the radiator, the clamps with which we fix the driver and the glue gun, with which we fix the network cable.
The lamp is ready. It remains to attach a clothespin to it. To do this, just make a couple of holes on it. After that, you can fix the clothespin on the lamp with a screw.
The lamp is ready.
