Homemade flower shelf, vertical

Many of us plant potted flowers on window sills. But here is the problem: the size of the window sill is not unlimited, and the "appetite" of many gardeners is constantly growing. And some plants simply do not have enough sunlight, because by the will of circumstances they stand in the shade of the frame or window frames.

But to solve these two problems, there is one very simple and effective solution: vertical shelves for flowers. After all, they, being fixed on the window frame do not overlap the window at all, significantly increase the number of flower pots and just look good, diluting the utilitarian interior item. Yes, and selectively water the pots with your favorite violets on it - as easy as shelling pears. So, it is decided, we arrange the flowers on the vertical floral shelves. But the problem is: their choice is practically zero, and the price of these very simple products is often unreasonably high. Therefore, today we ourselves will make these simple vertical flower shelves.

The first thing you will need is to make a floral shelf. And here there is a little trick: in the shops, where they dissolve into details for the future of furniture sheets of laminated chipboard, just a sea of scraps remains. And for a small fraction (in my case, a two-liter bottle of cold sparkling water) you will be sawed so much that at once it will not work in your hands to take it away. And for this particular shelf, we need seven identical parts, 100 to 200 mm in size.

In the furniture hardware store you have to buy something, namely:
six confirmations

four metal corners

two canopies

18 screws, 30 mm long,

two screws with a big hat,

edge

and decorative plugs for confirmations (or just chop them with a notch from the same edge).

In addition, you will need a drill / driver,

confirmation drill,

awl,

cross and hex bits, as well as an extension cord for quick change,

iron,

knife,

and a piece of sandpaper on a bar. Everything begins to "create."

First of all, details for the future flower shelf should be glued over with an edge and cut off its excess. So the iron, knife and whetstone with sandpaper will help you.

We make three L-shaped parts, fastening the pieces of chipboard with a confirm.

We fasten the corners to two of them on the reverse side.

Now we connect them all with the same confirmations and corners “snake”.

We fasten the last fragment of the chipboard again with a confirm, and instead of the corner we fix the furniture canopy. We attach the same canopy from the back.

The result was a vertical flower shelf. Now close the confirmation heads with plugs.

With screws with large hats we fasten the shelf from above,

and from below.

We reliably pulled the flower shelf to the window frame, and it looks equally harmonious as from the outside,

from the inside.

It remains to arrange flower pots, which we do.

That's all wisdom. And as you can see for yourself, it took a little more than 30 minutes. So to independently make this flower shelf turned out to be very time-saving as well.
