DIY Corner Bookshelves

There are book shelves in almost any home. And it is not necessary at all that they have become the "last refuge" for volumes and volumes of all colors and sizes. Pencils and brushes crafts your children and cute little things that are so dear to your heart, disks with films and music, soft toys, finally, just frames with photographs of significant people and especially memorable moments of your life - all kinds of bookshelves are designed for all this, as well as many other things. And their demand is explained quite simply: they take up little space, and you can place a lot of everything. But this is bad luck: even from a huge offer of all kinds of furniture and not only shops and supermarkets, which have absolutely everything for your home, it’s not always possible to choose exactly what you need.

So what could be easier if you can’t buy it, but really want to? That's right, do it yourself, especially since it is very, very simple. And such shelves that are made on a bevel, so as not to block the sunlight from the balcony window, we will do today.
First of all, you need to cut sheets of laminated particleboard,

and fiberboard, or as the latter is often called, hardboard.

All kinds of free and very simple programs for this - a dime a dozen, so everyone will choose to his taste. As a result, you should get 15 elements from particleboard and three from hardboard. But the sizes for all will be different, so consider for yourself.
However, the outer part of the shelves will not be pasted over with the usual paper edge (you can order this service in the same place where you will order the cutting of sheets yourself), but it is closed with a T-shaped profile. So cut a groove under it, order everything in the same workshop where you place an order for cutting.

In addition, you will need a screwdriver, which will successfully replace the usual drill,

confirmation drill,

extension bits,

36 (12 for each regiment, and all of them will be, as you managed to count, three) confirmations.

nine screws and as many furniture sheds,

45 smaller screws and 27 washers M3 ... M4,

decorative stickers on the heads of confirmations,

roulette,

ruler, pencil, awl (where without them),

furniture stapler with staples,

mallet,

sharp knife

and level. What you have available, what to buy, and what you can replace with, if such a need arises - decide for yourself.

The first thing to do is the T-edge.

Cut a small piece from one edge,

and in the sawn groove fill a little glue along the entire length.

Now with a gentle tapping with a mallet from the edge, start tucking the edge. When you come to the end of the part, cut out the central part again, cut the profile “with a margin”, and hammer it to the end. Now you need to cut off the rest of the profile flush. One part is ready, it remains to do the same five more times.

And then everything is very simple. We fix three crossbars with confirmations to the base of the shelf,

fasten the lower part

nail the back wall of our bookshelf,

and screw the canopies.

And so that the bookshelf does not fall forward, we screw on the screws on the bottom primitive supports: three ordinary washers.

We repeat all this two more times. Three shelves for books (or something else) are ready, it remains only to hang them.

We hang

and level one,

the second

and the third. Bookshelves are ready and hanged, it remains only to fill in the contents. But the overwhelming majority of us will have no problems with this,

so as you can see, it’s quite possible to do everything yourself. And in just two ... three hours.
