A cesspool in the country - simple and fast!

Sooner or later everyone summer resident or the owner of a country house thinks about the need for a cesspool on the house plot. Expensive - you say? Not at all, and today you will see this. The installation option for the cesspool proposed below is extremely simple and does not require special construction skills or costs.

Interested in? Still would! And now let's take a closer look at what can be made and installed a cesspool in your country house.
We bring to your attention a cesspool of tires.

What are its advantages?
The main thing is, of course, its low cost. You do not need to buy expensive building materials, whether it is brick or concrete rings. It is enough to find a couple of dozen tires. And even if you don’t have so many tires, don’t be upset, because you can always buy them at more than an affordable price or even get a gift. Drive through several of the workshops in your city and make sure that these words are correct. Another plus is certainly that such a cesspool is very easy to install, which is often a decisive argument in favor of a particular type of building material.

However, this type of cesspool has several drawbacks.
The most important of them is a short service life. As a rule, the service life of such pits is ten to fifteen years, after which the pit is deformed and destroyed. Another disadvantage is the complexity of its dismantling and repair.

So, after weighing all the pros and cons, you decided that there should be a cesspool of tire covers! Where to start?
First, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the general schematic structure of the pit and with the features of its installation.

After you should determine the location on the site, the size and depth of your future pit. Think about how often you will visit your cottage - every two to three weeks on the weekend or arriving there every other day.As a rule, ten to fifteen tires will be enough to create a pit with optimal sizes.

The next step is to dig a hole. To do this, measure the diameter of your tire and measure the diameter on the ground. It should be remembered that the pit should be dug a little larger than the diameter of the tires, so that in the future there will be no difficulties with their installation in the pit.

After digging a hole of the required size and volume, a drainage well should be made in it. To do this, it is necessary to drill a hole in the center of the pit with a drill and insert a drainage pipe with holes on the sides into the resulting hole. This is necessary so that the sewage does not stagnate in your pit, and pass through the water-resistant layers of the earth. Important: the top of the drainage pipe and the side openings on its surface should be protected with a special mesh so that they do not become clogged with large particles of debris and sewage.

We fill the bottom of the cesspool with gravel, creating a kind of foundation with a thickness of about ten centimeters. After that, on the resulting “pillow” from rubble, we begin to lay out the tires. Please note that in order to ensure an unhindered flow of water and debris, it is recommended to cut off the inner rim of each tire. Also, this step will prevent stagnation of water inside the tire and ensure longer operation of the cesspool.

After mounting the tires, we install the inlet pipe for drains and water. To do this, we cut an opening corresponding to the diameter of the inlet pipe with an electric jigsaw on the side surface of one of the top tires, after which we introduce the pipe into the hole and fix it. Remember that to facilitate the flow of water through the pipe, place it with a slight slope.

Important feature: tires should be stacked so that the last one is above ground level. The space between the tires and the walls of the dug pit is covered with earth, not forgetting to seal the joints between the tires before this sealant. To ventilate our cesspool, we install a ventilation pipe at the top of the pit, the height of which is about sixty to seventy centimeters above the ground.
Close the pit with a lid or hatch. That’s all - our cesspool is ready.

Such a self-made cesspool is very unpretentious in operation, will last you several decades, and add a lot of comfort to your life in the country.

80% of local sewers in dachas and villages are made of tires! And from them .... well, maybe 90% - they just dug a well, put the wheels, let the pipe down, covered it with some kind of lid ... Well, in 10% - they also poured rubble .... Nobody ever fastens nothing ... and nothing shifts, usually ...
In 2003, I bought half a house in the city for another homemade product. The house is ordinary, "village type", just in the city and stone ... So, I brought the central water supply there, and made a temporary sewer of 8 wheels from Audi (14 inches). "Temporary" is what I thought then ...))) Actually, I "cooled down" to that project .. For a while the house was empty, then I let my friend live there ... Here ... five years, probably they lived there ... Then, already four years, no one has been living ... so I go for a day sometimes, if I need to do something ... This summer I pulled out - seven out of eight wheels ... One is full .. The rest is empty ... Nothing has shifted ...
In fairness - the tudet is not displayed there. Only shower, washing machine and kitchen ....
Great idea! I think if you fix the tires, each with at least three bolts, then deformation can be avoided, well, it depends on the soil.
