Operating procedure:
Using a meter lace, a circle or two semicircles are marked on the plywood sheet. The resulting diameter is two meters, as planned. This circle is sawn.
The circle should cross out two diameters, which are a cross. In total, two such crosses are needed - located under the bed and on the floor. They gather from bars, gather at the corners. A plywood base is fastened to the upper crosspiece with screws.
In order to connect the crosses to each other, you need to cut out small legs from the bar. They reach a length of 300 mm and are attached to the corners. A total of 9 legs are required - one central and eight in radius.
Now you need to make eight more legs, each of which should be 400 mm long. They are distributed around the perimeter evenly and are fixed through with self-tapping screws. They need to be pulled together by ribs and pulled firmly by the corners.Stiffening ribs are sawn at an angle of 22.5 degrees, tightly fitting to large legs. You can recreate such conditions with the help of a miter box or the same ordinary school protractor.
Now you can start decorating the bed. To begin with, the perimeter is sheathed with hardboard. At the same time, it should protrude upwards by about 3 centimeters, thereby forming a side. The hardboard is attached to the legs with a self-tapping screw so that a cylinder forms.
Foam rubber is fastened to the legs with a stapler. The foam strips do not need to be cut end-to-end to the contours of the bed - they must be at least 8 centimeters wider in order to bend to the top for attachment to the plywood part.
Upholstery is also attached using a stapler. In this case, a special approach is needed - the brackets are attached at the junction of the material from the wrong side with subsequent twisting.
Now you can use decorative carnations, nailing them with material to each leg. With their help, unique patterns are created, depending on the taste of the master and the interior of the room.
At the end of the work, a gap of about 3 centimeters remains unfilled. To mask it, you need a frill, as which it is quite possible to use the same material from which the upholstery was made. He will be attached with a stapler. But there are many other options - it all depends on the imagination of the master.
As you can see, it’s easy to make such a bed, and besides, it’s easy to get all the materials. Only, a round mattress will have to be ordered separately. In general, the cost of such furniture, made independently, will be much more profitable than a similar salon option.
