Today we will tell you about a bed that resembles a boat.
Our boat bed will be with secrets:
1. On the right side we will make a small box.
2. We will make a hatch in front, where we will keep the laundry.
3. In order to open the cache, you will need a flagpole.
4. Compartment at the bottom of the boat.
Stage 1: Materials for work
Before starting work, we will draw a sketch taking into account the dimensions of the space and the mattress, and with the help of a tape measure we note the necessary sizes.

Stage 2: Making the Frame
On the sheet of whatman paper we note the actual dimensions of the boat frame. It is necessary to cut 4 triangles, we will need them to fix the frames located at the back. We attach to the slats, the size should be five centimeters larger than the mattress.
We will prepare a sketch taking into account the dimensions of the mattress for the bed. Then we fasten the screws until temporarily. We cut the base of the boat for the nose out of wood.
Stage 3: We place a fender
From the plywood we build the bow of the boat, and attach the beam to the edge of the hull.
Stage 4: Master the bow of the boat
The bed should be comfortable for sleeping and do not make it very long in size. Cut off the excess at the right angle. We fix the forte in its place.
Stage 5: Finish the upper part of the nose
We make the deck using 3 mm plywood sheets and fix it on the boat, mark the curved line on the plywood sheet. Cut along the intended line with a jigsaw. Now we turn the structure over and transfer the line to another part, also cut and install.
Stage 6: Casing
For facing our bed we use plywood 3 mm thick, the sides are strong.
We will install plywood on the sides, for this we will cut it into pieces ten centimeters wide.Glue and attach these parts to the frame. When the boards were connected to each other, small gaps formed, so I had to use 25 mm screws for fastening. After the glue dries, we fill the cracks with a putty.
The design has a slight bend along the fender bar.
Step 7: Nose Sheathing
We grind the surface of the nose with a grinder so that the bend is more sloping.
We prepare the design for the casing. We sheathe one side of the bow, with the second we do the same. When you need to cut, take into account the radius of curvature, it is different, since the nose to the top expands.
Step 8: The Secret Panel
Using a hacksaw, saw off a piece of the fender.
We make a box with a compartment with a special mechanism. It consists of 2 eyelets, a rope passes through them, it lifts the lid up when you click on the flagpole.
Stage 9: Secret Box
The author made a tablet with the name of his son, which is hidden in a drawer. The box is located in the boat itself.
We paint the finished box, and put the inscription on the stencil, and attach several brass rivets.
Stage 10: We make a compartment where we put the blankets
We will store linen for the bed in the bow, for this we will make a cover with loops. To keep the lid open, attach the latch.
Stage 11: Finishing the bed
We paint our construction in a greenish color, after completely drying, rub the surface with a brush and give it a long-standing appearance. Then we go through a damp rag that betray the whitened look.
Now we’ll draw a darker moss on our bed to look like a real one.
Step 12: Add Trees
We set the bed, now we proceed to the design of the wall. We fix dried branches along the wall and decorate our boat with garlands for beauty.
Stage 13: Jolly Roger
On black fabric with white paint we draw a sketch of a skull. We fix the finished flag on the flagpole with nails.
Step 14: Surveying Caches
We lower the flagpole down and the hidden panel rises.
A box is also hidden behind the plate.
In the bow there is a hatch.
