The lamp is a great thing for the dark, which does not heat up and consumes very little energy, because the power in this case will be from USB. It creates soft and pleasant lighting, and is great when you do not want to turn it on, and in the summer when the light is on, mosquitoes will fly too. Such a lamp is quite enough to consider the keyboard if you use it on a laptop.
Materials and tools:
- a large blown bulb with a large base
- ultraviolet LED
- 100 ohm resistor

To begin with, all the insides are pulled out of the light bulb, the easiest way is to cut the base, for this a file is used. In this work, one should be careful, as the bulb itself may crack. The author recommends using tight gloves. When the base is cut off, everything is pulled out with pliers.
For the stand, a wooden washer is cut in diameter of 7 centimeters, its thickness is 2.5 centimeters. A hole is drilled in the center, which slightly exceeds the width of the base. The hole is made through, a wall about 0.5 centimeters thick is left, and an additional through hole for the LED is drilled in the center. On the reverse side, space is drilled for the wire and resistor. The finished stand is processed with sandpaper and a layer of varnish.
Further, the author proceeds to the luminous elements of the lamp. The LED is soldered to the USB cable through a 100 ohm resistor. It is important not to confuse the polarity. It is determined using a battery. Soldering the wires, you can install the LED in the stand, and on the bottom side of the stand the space with the resistor and wire is filled with transparent silicone. The main thing is to check that the wires do not touch.
The decoration of the lamp follows the finale. A fluorescent fishing line is taken (it can be purchased at a fishing store), it is wound around a finger or pencil and this skein is pushed into the flask.When the fishing line got inside it can be randomly spread around the perimeter of the bulb.
And for the final completion of work, thereby the silicone flask is sealed in the stand, so that it has some kind of mount on the stand. After all this, you can turn on a homemade lamp and enjoy its beauty.
