No child can do without a table for drawing, games, eating. Adult models will not look appropriate in the children's room, and they can negatively affect posture, as they are excessively tall and wide. Any pediatrician will say that it is most reasonable to install a special table. And having at least minimal wood work skills, you can make it yourself.
Materials and tools:
1. Only wood is recommended as a material, as it is environmentally friendly. But to carry out work from scratch do it yourself it will come out only if there are woodworking machines at home. Yes, and garbage after such procedures accumulates plenty, which may not always be appropriate. Therefore, to facilitate the task of procurement are ordered in a carpentry workshop. You can even come with your own sketches. Total should make a solid wood worktop with parameters 600x400 mm, workpieces for legs in the amount of 4 pieces with a cross section of 40x40 mm and 4 bars for the power frame.

Work order:
The most basic task is to determine the height of the table. Here it is necessary to proceed from the growth of the child. It should be between 500 and 700 mm. If necessary, the legs are filed, however, you still need to take into account the thickness of the countertop. Parts should be the same length, which will ensure the stability of the entire structure as a whole.
Having finished the preparatory work, with the help of end mills, grooves are formed in the places of the alleged fastenings of the legs with the frame. To do this as correctly as possible, places for grooves are pre-marked by combining paired elements and drilling a blind hole in the required place. The diameter of the hole coincides with the thickness of the future groove, while the depth corresponds to 1/3 of the workpiece.
The workpiece of the legs is fixed in the clamp. The groove of the required size is carefully made using the end mill at low speeds of the electric drill. As a result of processing all the legs, an 8 groove is obtained.
The resulting grooves are measured with a ruler and spikes are marked on the bars prepared under the frame. It is important to take into account that all measurements and markings must be carefully made - the aesthetics and functionality of the future product, the quality of its assembly, depend on this.
Then spikes are formed according to the marking. A hacksaw and a carpentry knife are useful for this.
The control assembly of the structure is carried out. After connecting all the elements with a ruler, the angles are checked. If errors are detected, they are eliminated. If everything is correct, marking is made and the table is disassembled. All joints are treated with wood glue, and then reassembled. Special attention should be paid to the spikes - they must firmly fit into the grooves, which will ensure the durability of the structure.
When the frame dries, a countertop joins it, for which a blind hole is drilled under the furniture pin in the center of each leg. The corresponding positions of the spikes are marked and blind holes are drilled.
Next, you need to make another furniture fitting. After it, the furniture pins are smeared with glue. All parts are connected finally.
The final stage is the processing of surfaces with sandpaper and coating them with carpentry varnish in several layers.
Children's table is ready! It will take a little time to manufacture, funds too, and the results from such a product are difficult to overestimate.
